Choices-choices

To some I suppose, the idea that they actually might have to do something to get something must be a frightening idea. Probably just as much as the realization that we may not have free choice after all. And this fear, not because we have actually been doing something, not because we have actually been making choices, but rather because it is something we have been carefully planning, meticulously studying from every imaginable angle until we are absolutely, 110% sure that we are making the right one.

Choice is what we took way back in paradise, and no amount of denial will take that from us in this lifetime. I suppose that is one of the reasons that some people have difficulty in making choices... So that they can do the right thing? And they were doing the right thing by not making those choices how? But enough about other people, back to me, and my fascinating discovery about the most important choice we have!

The most important choice that we can ever make is... wait for it! Your attitude. Yes? It is also probably the choice we most often leave to our environment. Rather than taking a proactive approach in the matter of attitude, we leave it to their environment to suggest an attitude or two. Of all the plans we make we never seem to have planned our attitude.

Well my friend, believe it or not, we actually have a wide range attitudes to choose from, any of which is guaranteed to work. We also have the right, at any given time, to change it. And besides forgetting that we have a choice of attitude, this is most probably the second biggest mistake that people can make regarding attitude... To change it according to environmental influences.

In my own experience I have found that it is easiest to make this choice sometime in my day when I am not emotionally engaged in any activity, but even though much more difficult, it is a choice that I have been able to make under pretty much any of a wide range of tried and tested environmental conditions. In the event that there may be any experiences where your choice of attitude could not be made, or where you made it but it made no difference, I will personally guarantee a refund of everything you had before you accepted this lifetime offer. Unfortunately, as with everything, all is not good news. The downside of this total control is that we lose all hope of ever, ever, ever passing the responsibility for our choice on to others. So, to those of us who still have difficulty in making choices, and who are afraid that we will be making the wrong choice, to those I would like to remind you that there is a choice that you can make, a choice where we are in total control of the outcome.
