Choices-choices

To some I suppose, the idea that they actually might have to do something to get something must be a frightening idea. Probably just as much as the realization that we may not have free choice after all. And this fear, not because we have actually been doing something, not because we have actually been making choices, but rather because it is something we have been carefully planning, meticulously studying from every imaginable angle until we are absolutely, 110% sure that we are making the right one. Choice is what we took way back in paradise, and no amount of denial will take that from us in this lifetime. I suppose that is one of the reasons that some people have difficulty in making choices... So that they can do the right thing? And they were doing the right thing by not making those choices how? But enough about other people, back to me, and my fascinating discovery about the most important choice we have! The most important choice that we can ever make is... wait for it! Your ...

The rule of three

I suppose it shouldn't come as a surprise to know that there are a particular reason why things happen in three's. It is after all a universal law. In my experience the biggies tend to resonate way beyond their actual sphere because they are the one's, or zero's if you were speaking geek. And thus it also should not rise a brow if in the last three cycles of the moon I have had a brush with life three times. In the first I felt removed, and almost void of choice, the next I rushed inside without a choice or even thinking twice. The last a choice I made aware of every detail way before the time... And truth be told the second choice I wish to be. But in the three there lies a deeper, greater truth. A truth I'd known way back when since memory. That you got to see one, do one, teach one. Simple, isn't it?

A Wish...

When light banish dark it is this what I wish: That power be none the wiser than attitude, and that be a choice, such as blessings are free. That joy be rewarded by wisdom, a journey in knowledge through time. That love be the us that will open the door, to bask in the truth of a glorious day.

I used to hate stupidity...

i have always found it interesting to ask people what they hate the most, thinking that it was a meaningful way to engage in an honest discussion without falling right in the door with a question like: "How do you visualize the devil?" i suppose meaning is a concept that I hold in high regard... if i was asked the same question i used to reply that i hate stupidity. used to that is, until i felt stupid this morning and realized that i felt stupid quite often. in fact, i feel stupid every time that i make a choice and try to stick to it when i know there is a better choice to be made right now. in the past i felt stupid and immediately started to doubt the choice... i simply argued that if the choice felt stupid, there must be something wrong with it? the result of this mental emotional trigger was an exhaustive intellectual dissection of the choice that resulted in my making the choice regardless of the feeling, or not making the choice at all and doing something totally diff...

Luke 14:26

Luke 14:26 26 ‘Whoever comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and even life itself, cannot be my disciple. A friend and me was just discussing the issue of the Bible, and in an effort to discover the original person that decided what will and will not be part of the book of love... I surf across this quote, grouped together with eleven others as illustration of the proclaimed fact that the Bible does not inspire or teach anything of value. The conclusion they reach is this: "So we are forced to ask a question: Why doesn't a book written by God leave you with a sense of wonder and amazement? If you are reading a book written by the all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving creator of the universe, wouldn't you expect to be stunned by the brilliance, the clarity and the wisdom of the author? Would you not expect each new page to intoxicate you with its incredible prose and its spectacular insight?" Fact is... the...

Being in the flow...

Many of you will remember some experience where you were engaged in an activity, and in the blink of an eye it seemed as if hours had elapsed. This experience is referred to as being in the flow, and also described as optimal experience. Experiences such as these are therefore frequently remembered as the best time of our life, simply because the activity engages all of our senses to their maximum. This probably explains why the phenomenon has been the cause of so much discussion and scientific experimentation. One of these experiments aimed to examine the different user experiences that facilitate the occurrence of flow, or in other words, to determine environmental switches that would cause flow. The person who conducted some of these experiments is Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, and according to his observations the experience of flow would most likely occur due to the following environmental triggers: Challenge and require skill Concentrate and avoid interruption Maintain control ...

In darkness he is wake, fearful of his unknown fate Quite unaware that thus he loses what he was Hush may baby dont you cry I'm gonna sing you a lullaby A song of hero's, kings and queens The choice was yours till in our teens All defeated you did bend. Tired of the daily mend you wished that this may end. I hear your call my friend. Forgive me now my confidant, for it was I who lost the heart and somehow failed to see that it is you that maketh me.
