Relating sense

A revelation of present sense and mutual relevance

About the present

There is reason to believe your point of view eschew the present sense and mood defy the resonance of mutual relevance we share in Nature's cocreative confluence.

Making sense of your mind

Image
I first published this article in Feb 2010. A lot has changed since then... The human brain has long been called the last frontier of science, and by most accounts the mind remains a mystery. Given that our brain regulate every aspect of our life experience and our mind is at a loss without it you may be surprised to know that until recently we knew very little about it. Given that technology has advanced to the level that we can study it in action you may think we know more, but it seems we're more at a loss than ever before. From understanding the difference between emotional and neutral memories, to finding why people in a happy mood will almost always choose the first of any available choices given, all the way through to the role of emotions in determining self bias and the recent shocking discovery that morals are nothing less than conclusions and deductions to defend our actions. Take the recent discovery that imagination takes place in the same region of the br...

Endearing the nature of serendipity

Image
Contrary to what you believe, the practice of delayed reward is a fallacy, and payment for services rendered has no value other than blatant coercion. A self-serving purpose to foster the egalitarian principles of a society deluded by lies and lofty ideals.  Contrary to popular belief reality is not a mere string of random events, seeing is far from believing, and belief is a bias just as any other fallacy that we uphold. By our deluded view that life is and end to a means, and reason a consequence rather than a presence shared in intent we unwittingly perpetuate the lunacy of our shared reality. By mutual consent we empower the notion of delayed reward, of winning as a objective, and victory as an end to a means. We blind our self to present sense, deny the confluence of relevance, defy the confluence of serendipity, and fail to see how Nature rewards the flow of mutual resonance and presence shared intent.

The monster from the lake - A parable

Image
There is an ancient story told by the wise old men of our tribe, and it goes something like this: It was a time before time had forgot, but still I remember it well… The monster that came from the lake was deadly and swift and it nearly killed all the members of my tribe. The strong warriors, the young women and the babes in blankets were its favorite. They were the ones it took first. But perhaps it is best if I start at the beginning. My story is that of great suffering and pain. Many had died from the venom of the monster from the lake. But it is also one of victory and hope, for in the end we conquered the monster… Many years ago it happened that one day our village was shocked at the death of one of our strongest warriors. He was in the pride of his life, having fought countless battles and winning them all. He provided well for his family and the rest of the tribe. All the warriors of the region admired his skill with spear and bow, his victory over enemies were p...

Communication

In search of joy

Nirvana or heaven as some would call it is an interesting concept. Have you ever asked yourself to imagine such a place? For many I do believe it is described as a place of absence. A place where there is no more pain and suffering. Where there are no bosses or beggars, no credit or taxes, and certainly no worries and fears. In the minds of other the concept may be expressed by abundance. Where there is lots of money and love, children by the dozen or peace, and even wisdom and happiness. In medicine there is a principle called, assuming the sick role, and it is a valuable skill to be able to identify with your patient. Without this skill a physician may easily advise his patient complaining of a runny nose to blow it! In essence it allows us to place a value on something that is not our own. Unfortunately the value of the skill is limited by our own values and prejudice, but it is none the less important to assess the disease in children. Of what importance is a runny nose t...

Wisdom

Wisdom is not the exclusive domain of the Master... It can be found in every second of every day. For the wise are those that know That wisdom flows from the mastery of living.

Life...

Which just about sums up everything... just about. While driving home one afternoon I chanced on a thought: If one considers the Taoist principle that our journey called life is nothing less but opportunities for learning, and chances for healing the suffering caused by social conditioning... Healing=Learning I do believe I know what that means. This day has been a journey of frustration and total disbelief in the cruelty of man to man all the way through to absolute bliss. It has been another day of healing. For if you do every moment without remorse you will find that the journey is a breeze. A gentle one with fresh of sea and playful sand on wind. Where pain on your path is nothing more than a gentle warning that the life in shells underfoot are as you, a player in the symphony called life. A symphony where you and me have different instruments to play, and when we do in harmony the sound we add play sweetest melodies of serendipity. Like the designer Gauteng number-plate on the ca...

Einstein and beyond...

"No problem can be solved by the same consciousness that created it. We must learn to see the world anew." Albert Einstein "As we solve the mysteries of life we open up our consciousness to a totally different reality. We must learn to see the world anew." Sync 101 Throughout my life I have journeyed towards a better understanding of myself , though it started as an attempt to understand my fellow travelers at first. Between the baby-steps interspersed by giant leaps in wisdom I started to notice that my world was changing more and more. Boring family obligations became fun events and opportunities for growth, and girlfriends trapped in toxic relationships became desperate souls in need of recognizing a lesson that has been tailor-made for their journey. Now the world is a much more vibrant place where love and peace and joy have replaced the gloomy props of my early life. The rewards of truly living life is nothing less than bliss. Now every step I take unlock a ...
